Option 1: Install Using Screws

Tools Needed: Phillips Screwdriver

Before You Start

Mounting this cup holder with screws will give you the strongest attachment. However, once you find the perfect spot, make sure the surface you are attaching the Vertical Mount is safe to be screwed into.

Step 1

First things first, pop open that cup holder so you can see all the screw holes (check the next image for the hole locations if you need a little help).

Hold the Vertical Mount up to the surface, get it straight, and mark those spots with your trusty pen or pencil.

Step 2

Now, start with the top screws. Just get one of them going, and keep it loose so you can line up the other one.

Don’t get carried away tightening them just yet—let them breathe! You’re gonna need some wiggle room for the bottom screws.

Step 3

Time for the bottom screws. Start one, get it about halfway in, then move on to the last one.

When all screws are in, go ahead and tighten them up, switching back and forth diagonally to keep things even.

*Do not over-tighten. Once the mount feels snug, stop tightening.

Step 4

Give it a good shake. If there’s still a bit of wiggle, tighten things up just a bit more.

Option 2: Install Using Adhesive

Tools Needed: Clean Rag or Towel

Before You Start

If you are attaching the Vertical Mount with the included double-sided adhesive, use ALL of the adhesive squares for maximum strength.

STEP 1

Give the back of the Vertical Mount and your target surface a good scrub. Use water or isopropyl and really go for it—like you're cleaning for a visit from your mom.

*Make sure it’s bone dry afterward and very clean. No shortcuts here, this is the secret sauce to a solid stick.

Step 2

Flip over that Vertical Mount, find the little indented squares, and slap on those adhesive squares. You can use either side of the adhesive, but for an easy setup, stick the red side onto the mount.

*If the red backing is being stubborn, grab a knife (but, like, carefully) and peel it back.

Step 3

Peel off the other adhesive backing—this is the part that’s gonna meet your surface. No turning back now.

Step 4

Press that mount onto your surface. Give it a just a little bit of pressure to make sure it sticks.

*Now, we wait. 72 hours. Go chill and dream of spill-free drinks.

Step 5

After 72hrs of bonding time, you’re all set! Pop in your TwistLock drinkware, lock it down with a twist, and you’re officially part of the No-Spill Club. Welcome aboard!
