The Mini Disc and Flat Mount Locking Bases include both double-sided adhesive and self-tapping screws.
Make sure the surface has been thoroughly cleaned prior to applying the double-sided adhesive. It takes 72hrs for the adhesive to fully be bound.
Step 1:
Make sure the bottom of the Locking Base and the surface you are mounting to is clean. Clean it if needed.
Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive squares and add them to the bottom of the Mini Disc or Flat Mount.
Push to ensure the double-sided adhesive is thoroughly bonded with the Locking Base.
Step 2:
Thoroughly clean the surface you are mounting the Locking Base to. If the surface is dirty, it won't properly adhere.
Peel off the double-sided adhesive cover.
Step 3:
Push the Locking Base onto the surface. Make sure to put some strength behind you applying force.
Let it sit for a minimum of 20 minutes before using to allow the adhesive to bond. (20mins = 50% bonded, 24hrs = 90% bonded, 72hrs = 100% bonded)
That's it! You are now ready to Never Spill Again. To lock in your TwistLock Drinkware, just give a twist.
Make sure the surface is safe to screw into prior to driving the screws.
Check the fit in your desired location. Confirm it is safe to screw into (no wires, electronics, etc).
If you can't screw into it, use the included double-sided adhesive instead.
For the strongest hold, use the adhesive in conjuncture with the self-tapping screws.
Use a Phillips head screwdriver and begin to tighten the included screws through the pre-drilled holes in the Locking Base.
Tighten the remaining screws.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
To mount, simply pull the adjustable strap tight as you can to any rounded surface (tubes, bars, raft frames, roll cages, grab handles, poles).
Fits rounded surfaces between 1" and 2.5" in diameter.
Place the Bar Mount onto the bar, tube, or other rounded surface of your choice.
Rounded surface should be between 1" and 2.5" in diameter.
Tighten the strap as much as you can and secure it like you would a belt.
You can push any extra strap material back underneath the locking base.
To mount, simply remove the old drop-in cup holder and push the Recessed Cup Holder into the hole. If needed, add an adhesive.
If you are adding a new cup holder, the minimum cut-out diameter is 3.625" and the top-rim diameter is 4.30".
If need, remove the old cup holder or create a hole.
Minimum cut-out diameter: 3.625".
Top-rim diameter: 4.30"
Depth: 4"
Push the TwistLock Recessed Cup Holder into the hole.
If your existing hole is too large or the fit isn't snug enough, add an adhesive compatible with your boat material.
